Which other vehicle could combine motor ans sports as authentic as the TWIKE?
The TWIKE likes to show ist sporty character and its extraordinary performance characteristics live on the road: American Tour de Sol 1996 & 2002, German Solar-Vehicle Championships, TWIKE Tours 1998 to the Northcap and 2005 straight to the Black See, Michelin Challenge Bibendum and e-miglia 2011. And now on the WAVE.

We won!

Team TWIKE 4 got the award for the first place of all teams, Team TWIKE 3 gained the sixth place! Read more in our press release(german).

The competition

The WAVE (the World Advanced Vehicle Expedition) is a driving event, that leads on spiry roads from Paris to Praha. The WAVE shows, that electric mobility is absolutely suitable for everyday use and voyages and that the energy can come easily from renewable energies. More on www.wave2011.net.

The vehicles

We started with 2 vehicles: A brand new TWIKE sport edition and the concept car TW4XP, that achieved an awesome thrid place out of 136 competitors in the international competition Automotive X Prize.
